The individual Valentine cards are prints of large scale heart artwork she created for her room, and the smaller classroom Valentines are inspired by ideas she had for each of her 24 fourth-grade classmates at Jefferson Elementary. However, Malin never got the chance to create these as she passed away on January 31st, 2023, at the age of nine, after an 8 month aggressive battle with DIPG Brain Cancer.
