Malin-tines, our Malin inspired class valentine sets, are once again for sale at Boxed Turtle.

Malin Opitz loved all holidays, and for most of her nine years, she would make her own unique & individual Valentines to give to her friends and family. These unique Valentines are inspired by her love of creating and making and the joy she had of giving one of a kind gifts for others.

All of these designs are inspired by drawings and ideas she had from her artwork. They are exclusively for sale at the Box Turtle and all proceeds will go towards Malin's fund, No Throwaway Days, set up through the Arkansas Community Foundation. This year, we are offering 4 sets- Candy Hearts, sweets, Breakfast and Butterflies. All sets are $12 and include stickers and 12 cards to pass out to classmates. We also have a handful of individual heart cards for sale, with Malins art printed on them.

Malin bravely passed away on January 31st, 2023, at the age of nine, after an 8 month aggressive battle with DIPG Brain Cancer. We. know Malin would love to carry on her tradition of creating one of a kind gifts. for those that she loved. Thank you to everyone for keeping her sweet spirit alive.
